I was born in NYC and lived all over NY and NJ. We then moved to Grand Rapids, MI where I went to school and finally ended up in Baltimore in 1996. Baltimore is also where I met my husband. ;-) I moved here with my job at Aerotek to work in the corporate office as Director of Sales Training. I feel very fortunate to have had a great career there for 10 years. But it was time for me to branch out on my own so I left and took a year off to plan the opening of Studio 921. During this time I was also pregnant with my first child. With the help of Colleen Smith, my business partner, we opened Studio 921 in April of 2004! We opened with 4 employees and our fingers crossed. How blessed and humbled do I feel to now be 12 years in and with 40 employees!
I have 2 kids and live in RP. I am loving my life with both my family and my Studio 921 family. It sounds so cliche, but we are like family here and I am inspired everyday by our staff. I love coming to work. Thank you for your belief in us, support and loyalty.
