Dr. Theda Kontis has been a local and national leader in facial plastic surgery for the last 15 years. She trained at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, and continues to serve on the faculty as an Assistant Professor, teaching surgical techniques to both medical students and residents.

 

Dr. Kontis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Board of Facial plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and serves as an Oral Board examiner.

 

As a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Kontis is well respected for her innovative techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Frequently featured in Baltimore magazine, her expertise includes both surgical and minimally invasive techniques to treat facial aging.

 

In addition to performing facial rejuvenation surgeries, Dr. Kontis is an expert in Botox cosmetic and filler injections, and trains other physicians on safe and effective injection treatments. Her gentle artistic techniques allow injections of filling agents such as Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse and Sculptra, with minimal discomfort and natural appearing results.
